Fixed the image links in my framing with a zoom lens article, the links now go to the proper images. This was due to a problem I created when I changed the numbering of some of my slides. I had scanned a set of slides in the wrong order, and wanted to fix the numbering in my images. I fixed the image tags, but I missed the links. This is why changing filenames on a site is bad!
Because of the number of questions (okay I think it was 3) that I've been getting lately about what equipment I use in my photography, I added an article on the gear I use.
Apparently, I spoke too soon yesterday about chapter 3 being finished! After thinking about it a bit more and looking back at my outline (yes, I do actually have a bit of an outline for this!) I decided to add another quick paragraph because it would have hurt the flow of chapter 4.
Added new technology section. Wrote an articles on how encapsulation works and how ARP works based off of earlier posts on usenet.
Added some new info to the photo section. Also wrote an article about framing with a zoom lens.
Updated my about page to shed some insight on my choice of domain name.
By creating a batch processing script in perl, I was able to add over 100 new photos to the site. Check them out in the photo section.
So much for the theory that maintaining a version history would encourage me to keep this site up to date! I have done some work on the site since my last update. Unfortunately, I haven't kept the version history up to date to match this. The photo section has been added, there's not that much there right now as I've only got 5mb of web space currently. Also had to move the page to Eastlink as my Sympatico account finally blew up. I've done some work in the Travel section as well, I've been slowly working on the next chapter of my trip to Russia, but it's not done yet. I'm currently working on updating the personal section to reflect some of the stuff I've done in the last year and a half!
